The people have spoken. In one of our recent ticket giveaway contests, I asked what new feature you thought I should add to Red94. Overwhelmingly, the majority of respondents felt I should create a forum for free discussion. As I explained in a later post, I was wary for several reasons; the vision behind Red94 was never for it to become more than just a blog.
However, given the team’s current circumstances, my thinking has changed. With the situation starting to spiral out of control, I know I will have to open things up a bit more. If the team is sitting at something like 6-20 a few weeks from now, I realize you guys will have more interest in discussing whatever (from John Wall to the latest Blake Griffin posterization) rather than specific analysis on a cellar dweller. For that, we’ll need a forum.
As you all know by now, I also like highlighting thoughtful reader comments/e-mails from time to time. This addition will give me a self-sustenant bank from which to pull from.
No time-table right now on when it will be up and running, but I’m excited to make the announcement. Stay tuned for now.
