I actually kind of like the black ones. The gray one has grown on me a little bit as well. I like last years ketchup and mustard alternative more than the new clutch city one, but again I don't think it is terrible. It's just the sleeves that aren't appealing, but I understand why the league is shifting that way.

I have seen other people ask this questions legitimately, so I responded like it was serious. Sarcasm is so hard to catch through text.

Am I the only one worried about Harden? Isn't he dating a Kardashian? Bad things happen to athletes who do that.

Eh that's a statement with little validity. Kim married Kris Humphries, and he was mediocre before they got married and mediocre afterwards. Lamar had a drug problem, which caused his downward spiral. Unless she pushed him towards meth, than there really isn't much evidence that the Kardashians are bad for athletes. Also Kanye is still doing as good as ever, and he has been married for a while now. So no, I am not too worried about Harden.

Shaq has no business on any top all time list (maybe big men in the 90's), especially yours with all that talent you have below. Better than WIlt? Dr. J?! Bird??!? Come on, man.

I don't know, I disagree that he doesn't belong. He might not necessarily be top 5, but he was certainly one of the most dominating big men to ever play the game. Whether it was because of his sheer size or his "skill" really is a moot point when you have a career like he did. Almost every player in the top 25 of all time had/has elite physical gifts. I'd argue Lebron benefits from his freakish size/strength/speed combination just as much as Shaq did. He definitely has more skill as well, but that is why he is considered 2nd best or the best, whichever your preference. That is why it is so hard and impossible to agree on a list like this. Everyone has their own personal criteria they go by. I personally think it is unreal to have the sort of size, strength, and footwork Shaq had, so I still personally rank him high regardless of his perceived lack of "skill".   

I feel like last season had more easy and hard stretches. This schedule seems more even throughout. Though I guess a lot of that depends on which way some question mark teams go: Utah, Phoenix, Miami, Indiana, etc.

 

And 15 games?? I thought Lawson was only suspended for 4 games. Right?

I believe JG was just speculating. To the best of my knowledge the league has not suspended Lawson yet, but there definitely will be a suspension. I have seen numbers ranging from 5 to 25 games, but nobody really knows how the league is going to handle it. There isn't really any precedent for his situation. DWIs typically get a 2-3 game suspension, but it is very feasible the league hits him fairly hard for having 2 back to back like that. I personally think it will be closer to 8 games, but I would not be utterly shocked if it ended up being 15 games.
