@  majik19 : (13 October 2015 - 09:09 PM) Apparently we claimed Arsalan Kazemi off waivers from the Hawks today... yet another undersized (6'7") power forward for Morey's cupboard.
@  Mario Peña : (10 October 2015 - 01:12 PM) If your part if the Red94 Fantasy Basketball League check the thread to vote for the date and time for the draft event. Thanks y'all!
@  jorgeaam : (07 October 2015 - 08:47 PM) Guys we need 1 more owner for the Red94 fantasy league, if interested please comment on the post in the fantasy basketball thread
@  slick shoes : (07 October 2015 - 06:50 PM) Kobe ranked one spot higher than Ariza? Is this based on legacy or...??
@  slick shoes : (07 October 2015 - 04:13 PM) It was hard to keep up with both the Astros and Rockets at the same time. Should be interesting on Thursday with the Texans and Astros on simultaneously.
@  Mario Peña : (07 October 2015 - 04:09 PM) It was fun to have the Rockets on last night! Right now I'm watching the Celtics versus Milan and Alessandro Gentile is impressive.
@  jorgeaam : (06 October 2015 - 07:47 PM) Well, thinking twice about it, I'd rather have him score less and have the team as a whole do better. Lawson should take a lot of his load off
@  jorgeaam : (06 October 2015 - 07:47 PM) Loving that, hope he hits 30 PPG this year
@  thejohnnygold : (06 October 2015 - 06:15 PM) Someone is feeling confident :) : LINK
@  jorgeaam : (06 October 2015 - 05:54 PM) 10 Teams done, will need 2 more
@  Mario Peña : (06 October 2015 - 02:35 PM) Alright guys, if anyone is interested in joining the Red94 fantasy basketball league we could use one more player to get us to 10 teams (or three to get us to 12 teams). Just check the thread in the Fantasy Basketball forum. Thanks!
@  thejohnnygold : (05 October 2015 - 06:23 PM) I use leaguepass here in Austin with no problems...
@  skip 2 my lou : (05 October 2015 - 03:14 PM) Hey fellas, I'm a rocket fan but I live in the heart of Dallas. Does anybody know if I buy NBA Leaguepass if it's too close to be subject to blackouts?
@  Losthief : (02 October 2015 - 02:24 AM) tks jg
@  thejohnnygold : (29 September 2015 - 05:16 AM) FYI, it was media day today. Interviews are up at NBA.com
@  slick shoes : (23 September 2015 - 06:37 PM) kind of late in the day but NBATV is broadcasting classis Rockets games all day today.
@  SadLakerFan : (16 September 2015 - 04:37 AM) Man, as a Laker fan, I'm learning how little you care about the off season when your team sucks. Anyway, a quick moment to remember Moses. Still remember watching the 81 team as a kid - losing record, NBA Finals. I would have cried w/joy if they could have beaten the Celtics.
@  jorgeaam : (15 September 2015 - 08:30 PM) http://bleacherrepor...ist-after-crash
@  jorgeaam : (15 September 2015 - 08:30 PM) So to celebrate his new contract, Montrezl Harrell saved someone's life on monday
@  thejohnnygold : (14 September 2015 - 04:36 PM) A good article from Blinebury talking about when Hakeem and Moses used to play in the park. LINK

Still completly against gutting the team for melo and making our other positions weaker. You would then have two one way isolation stars competing for touches without even mentioning Dwight post ups, defense, and thin bench. We all know the weakest position is PG in a PG dominant conference. By trading for rondo, the rockets upgrade themselves on both sides of the court without giving up nearly as much because rondo is an expiring contract who by the way would cost a little more than half as much against the cap as melo. Since he's an expiring contract, the rockets can get away with a lot less along with having the leverage that the Cs can't realistically build around a PG that's 28. Lin, parsons,a1st (2015) or Lin and 2 first(2015 2017), fillers like casspi might need to be added and/or 2nd round picks for sweeteners. If they do trade parsons, they should still have enough to go after a 3&D wings, like Ariza if willing to take a slight paycut. Back to Rondo though, he would add that mental toughness, hard nose attitude that this team needs like getting On harden when he decides being non-existent on defense and create a true reliable playmaker to work with H&H. Another fact about rondo is he has been reconstructing his 3pt shot. Trading for rondo would also move Beverley to the bench where he could be a true energy spark and no longer need to conserve his energy for starter minutes. Further offseason moves I would advise for is looking for a 5th big man for depth like resigning Greg smith or signing Camby and maybe use the MLE on James Johnson to upgrade wing depth and draft KJ Mcdaniels to store in the D-league and move the viper gang into the rotation. Can we make an offseason thread already?

Andrey blatche, Elton brand, Greg smith, marcus Camby, kenyon Martin are also possible for 5th big man depth.

with McFail in tow we have to look at bigger fish first. no doubt Rondo can help us, but if you catch a whopper you don't throw him back just because the cooler is full

        yikes that defense.

why is chris bosh completely out of the realm of possibility?

Bosh likely stays with Miami IMO. I agree with Love in the lineup our defense will be a freeway of drives to the hoop interrupted only by a Howard swat from time to time. I once saw Love's shadow score ten straight points on him

still not sure about the salary cap situation. how long can you sign role players for pennies on the dollar? some of it might be dependent on their success this season. i mean the guy already has 2 rings. could get a good amount of money and a decent chance at another ring.

it amazes me that every fan thinks every star will give their team a discount. sure it happens from time to time, but it's the exception.....not the rule especially when it comes to stars. role players are more likely to do it, but even for them the situation has to be almost perfect. you can not depend on the generosity of players to build your franchise.

exactly. bosh has 2 rings. he could come to houston for big cash and a chance at a ring.

Bosh is a very underrated defender and has become a great 3pt shooter. However I see the big 3 declining their ETO to join that massive 2015 FA class where they would have far more options, it also gives one last season for lebron to decide if he's making South Beach his permanent home.

carp? I was fishing at Sheldon reservoir a couple of weeks ago and people were hauling out carp like they were catching bass. carp may not be among my favorites, but it appears it's not without appeal to some. in my normal fishing spots carp isn't a problem because I'm normally in salt water, but since the oil spill I'm sticking to fresh water this year. I want to have to put oil in the skillet before the fish. not put the fish in and let the oil run out. I prefer vegetable oil over crude
