Lawprofsr - please look at the thread QNOIR started "Kevin McHale - Whats the Verdict."
He clearly states in the thread that he thinks McHale is out to destroy Lin.
QNOIR stated in this thread he was frustated about Lin getting pulled after starting to do something "special." I responded that Lin was not playing that well. If he would have said he was frustrated with playing small ball versus probably the best small ball team in the league, I would have agreed. If he would have said that the small lineup is a -11.5 per 100 posessions and should not be used, I would have agreed. Since his post was about one guy, my response was about one guy
One more thing. I neither started that thread, nor said anything negative about McHale in that thread. I actually said something positive, which is that he may deserve more credit than we give him, because he doesn't give us a lot of insight into his methods and reasons, yet the Rockets are doing well. You stated that you were confused. I see my response didn't help, but I'll try again. I don't think McHale is trying to ruin Lin or that he has anything at all to gain by it. That's just ridiculous. I'm a fan of Lin for a lot of reasons, but he's a grown man. He doesn't need fan "moms" getting mad at the teacher, lol. I simply saw that in that moment there was some team synergy. I thought the reaction to that foul was an overreaction. I notice those overreactions sometimes, but Lin is more at fault for that than anyone. In just about any workplace, if you behave too humbly, you'll get eaten alive.
