The Daily Blast – January 29, 2013

Flawless Victory – The Rockets handed the Utah Jazz their worst home loss in team history last night. In case you missed the game, allow me to summarize it for you:

More basking in the afterglow after the jump…

Dunkface – James Harden gives the people what they want.

Choose Your Own Ending – If you want the players’ take on last night’s win, turn to page 45. If you want the exhilarated outburst of a fan, turn to page 125. If you are in the mood for some schadenfraude, and want to see how the Jazz fans are taking it, turn to page 80.

Linsanity – Jeremy Lin missed his own movie this weekend, continues to be a cultural touchstone, and met the first Asian-American to ever play in the NBA. By the way, he also made every shot last night.

All That Power – Rockets are up a spot in Marc Stein’s Power Rankings. Ditto in John Schuhmann’s rankings.

Hipster All-Stars – That’s the only way I can describe this alternate list of All-Stars from Hardwood Paroxysm. Two Rockets are listed. This should not be surprising, since our only real All-Star has been named by his peers as the NBA’s biggest hipster.
