Mario Peña (10 October 2015 - 01:12 PM) If your part if the Red94 Fantasy Basketball League check the thread to vote for the date and time for the draft event. Thanks y'all!
jorgeaam (07 October 2015 - 08:47 PM) Guys we need 1 more owner for the Red94 fantasy league, if interested please comment on the post in the fantasy basketball thread
slick shoes (07 October 2015 - 06:50 PM) Kobe ranked one spot higher than Ariza? Is this based on legacy or...??
slick shoes (07 October 2015 - 04:13 PM) It was hard to keep up with both the Astros and Rockets at the same time. Should be interesting on Thursday with the Texans and Astros on simultaneously.
Mario Peña (07 October 2015 - 04:09 PM) It was fun to have the Rockets on last night! Right now I'm watching the Celtics versus Milan and Alessandro Gentile is impressive.
jorgeaam (06 October 2015 - 07:47 PM) Well, thinking twice about it, I'd rather have him score less and have the team as a whole do better. Lawson should take a lot of his load off
jorgeaam (06 October 2015 - 07:47 PM) Loving that, hope he hits 30 PPG this year
thejohnnygold (06 October 2015 - 06:15 PM) Someone is feeling confident :) : LINK
jorgeaam (06 October 2015 - 05:54 PM) 10 Teams done, will need 2 more
Mario Peña (06 October 2015 - 02:35 PM) Alright guys, if anyone is interested in joining the Red94 fantasy basketball league we could use one more player to get us to 10 teams (or three to get us to 12 teams). Just check the thread in the Fantasy Basketball forum. Thanks!
thejohnnygold (05 October 2015 - 06:23 PM) I use leaguepass here in Austin with no problems...
skip 2 my lou (05 October 2015 - 03:14 PM) Hey fellas, I'm a rocket fan but I live in the heart of Dallas. Does anybody know if I buy NBA Leaguepass if it's too close to be subject to blackouts?
Losthief (02 October 2015 - 02:24 AM) tks jg
thejohnnygold (29 September 2015 - 05:16 AM) FYI, it was media day today. Interviews are up at NBA.com
slick shoes (23 September 2015 - 06:37 PM) kind of late in the day but NBATV is broadcasting classis Rockets games all day today.
SadLakerFan (16 September 2015 - 04:37 AM) Man, as a Laker fan, I'm learning how little you care about the off season when your team sucks. Anyway, a quick moment to remember Moses. Still remember watching the 81 team as a kid - losing record, NBA Finals. I would have cried w/joy if they could have beaten the Celtics.
jorgeaam (15 September 2015 - 08:30 PM) http://bleacherrepor...ist-after-crash
jorgeaam (15 September 2015 - 08:30 PM) So to celebrate his new contract, Montrezl Harrell saved someone's life on monday
thejohnnygold (14 September 2015 - 04:36 PM) A good article from Blinebury talking about when Hakeem and Moses used to play in the park. LINK
rockets best... (14 September 2015 - 02:29 AM) I agree totally. I got to watch his Rocket days and the man was a hell of a player. BIG MO R.I.P.

Guest (15 August 2015 - 08:59 AM) I'd give up Jones personally. Even if somehow Jones finally gets his stuff together, then we will have to pay him. Markieff has always been the better player out of the Morris twins, he wants to come here, and he his on a very friendly contract like jorgeaam alluded to.
Guest (18 May 2015 - 11:26 AM) Well we are playing with the house's money as far as I'm concerned, so any future success is just bonus for an awesome season.
Guest (18 April 2015 - 02:02 AM) I agree it is painful to watch but the best solution in my opinion if for these bad free throw players to work on hitting free throws. It's a crying shame a professional player can suck so bad at free throws that it has an effect on the game the way it does.
Guest (17 April 2015 - 10:03 PM) It's all in the game, yo, all in the game.
Guest (16 April 2015 - 03:54 AM) jorgeaam*
Guest (16 April 2015 - 03:53 AM) Amen to that jorgeam
Guest (28 February 2015 - 03:45 AM) Indeed and we got to 40 wins before 20 losses so Phil Jackson would be pleased.
Guest (06 January 2015 - 01:10 AM) Nevermind, it looks like they are getting Shumpert as well so it is highly unlikely they will get all that in return.
Guest (06 January 2015 - 01:08 AM) For Cle I'd rather have Waiters than Smith. Maybe they will get Jackson.
Guest (06 January 2015 - 01:07 AM) Jackson may not be in the deal.
Guest (24 December 2014 - 06:08 AM) Yep, no Kobe, no problem.
Guest (22 December 2014 - 07:32 PM) I don't know man, I'm intrigued. Maybe he can play into our system well. Him and Howard are besties and do we want him going to the Mavs or Clippers and end up doing well for either of those teams?
Guest (09 December 2014 - 05:34 AM) Now we just need that clip to go viral Adi.
Guest (06 December 2014 - 10:09 PM) It's*
Guest (06 December 2014 - 10:09 PM) rocketrick, true enough. It'd definitely not looking good on that front.
Guest (06 December 2014 - 03:51 AM) Whew! We gotta work on our 2nd and 4th quarters.
Guest (15 November 2014 - 03:06 AM) Yeah I'm more worried about the 3s. At 18.8% now. We better not lose to the worst team in the league and a team that prides itself on LOSING. And at home no less.
Guest (29 October 2014 - 03:18 AM) Heh..don't forget 2 fouls as well.
Guest (29 October 2014 - 03:17 AM) than*
Guest (29 October 2014 - 03:16 AM) Who said Jet wouldn't factor in our lineup? He's got more points the CP and there's only been one quarter.
Guest (29 October 2014 - 02:36 AM) I'm not too worried. I can't even record the Rockets game cause of the conflicts. Atleast until 10. So keep me updated!
Guest (29 October 2014 - 02:31 AM) Yep...I can't watch it until 10 though cause I already have two things recording. Damn you SoA and Person of Interest.
Guest (29 October 2014 - 02:26 AM) Yeah Asik is picking up where he left off in the 2012-13 season.
Guest (29 October 2014 - 02:21 AM) Damn that is a monster game from Davis. Paul better have a good game tomorrow to make me feel a little better about our trade.
Guest (11 October 2014 - 12:34 AM) I'm with you on Clyde FSS. I loved Clyde as a player but he has got to be the worst announcer ever. I just wish it was Bill and Bullard, or bring back Calvin Murphy.
Guest (29 June 2014 - 04:34 AM) his first two years in Houston*
Guest (29 June 2014 - 04:28 AM) He's a much improved shooter than when he was in Houston his first two years. He shot over 500 threes last year and made a career high 38% and has been hovering around 36-37% the last 4 years. I'd say that would get the job done.
Guest (28 June 2014 - 08:28 PM) Yeah I'm with you on that one. Lowry will join and honestly makes better sense.
Guest (28 June 2014 - 08:19 PM) Yeah now I'm a little worried with Wade and Bosh opting out as well. More so Wade than Bosh. Wade would not have done so if he thinks Lebron is leaving.
Guest (03 May 2014 - 08:05 AM) The only thing I can think of is Parsons thought he would be able to get there in time to block the shot since he has size over Lillard.
Guest (03 May 2014 - 08:03 AM) That's just it. Because Parsons was on Lillard's right and not left after him and Beverly switched, once the whistle blew, it was a race to get to the other side with Lillard starting out in front and clearly he was able to win the race.
Guest (03 May 2014 - 07:06 AM) I mean he should have been on Lillard's left and not right.
Guest (03 May 2014 - 07:05 AM) I now watched the Lillard three a dozen times and I just don't understand why Beverly and Parsons switched and why Parsons let Lillard get to his left and not his right. Beverly had him played well before him and Parsons did the switch. Can't let Lillard have a free run through the picks.
Guest (17 April 2014 - 10:17 PM) That is some interesting news. We gotta get past Portland first, but I like that stat for the next round.
Guest (07 April 2014 - 02:02 AM) Well we needed everyone of those 47 points in the 2Q cause we decided to drop the ball in the second half. Luckily we pulled it out.
Guest (05 April 2014 - 04:58 AM) Tonight's win was a breath of fresh air that I desperately needed after all the sighing I've been doing the last three games.
Guest (02 April 2014 - 06:06 AM) Am I the only one that is actually starting to worry about losing our home court advantage? If we lose tonight in Toronto, we are more than likely looking at a four game losing streak since we gotta play OKC after that.
Guest (26 March 2014 - 01:00 AM) There's even a chance that Memphis moves up to the 5th seed and that would be horrible for us if we stay the 4th seed.
Guest (26 March 2014 - 12:58 AM) YaoMan makes a good point but with the way Portland is playing, they are likely to end up being the 6th seed rather than the 5th. It would be beneficial for us to move up to the 3rd, and we have an outside chance at the 2nd seed.
Guest (16 March 2014 - 10:14 PM) This game pisses me off so much. The DoG call, the technical, the illegal screen on James and most of all the absolute poor shot selection by the Rockets at the end let this one slip away.
Guest (10 March 2014 - 08:36 AM) Agreed Opasido. And I want Westbrook to take 10 more shots than KD.
Guest (06 March 2014 - 01:22 AM) I'm with Buckko. I'm hoping the Lakers win some more games now (except against us ofcourse). Although, it is funny seeing Kobe get delusional.
Guest (21 February 2014 - 08:09 AM) Don't forget about the offensive rebounds we let the Warriors get in the second half. Way too many second, third, and sometimes fourth chances.
Guest (13 February 2014 - 01:27 AM) Aye for tonight only I'm going for the Clips. There is also Dallas playing Indiana and Golden State playing Miami. Could be a Red Nation type of night.
Guest (27 November 2013 - 01:14 AM) Yeah me too. Wall really started doing business when he finally came back last season.
Guest (26 October 2013 - 09:29 PM) I'm thinking about getting league pass broadband as that is my only option. Will Rocket games be blacked out if I live in East Texas?
Guest (23 October 2013 - 09:49 AM) Hey Rahat, I've been watching the Rose/Simmons previews and good call man. It is some great stuff. I bet the Rockets will be coming up soon.
Guest (17 June 2013 - 04:33 AM) Now I had no idea Ginobli was gonna pull a Wade and turn back the clock. I give Pop the majority of the credit for that.
Guest (17 June 2013 - 04:32 AM) I don't think it was too ballsy on San Antonio's part. With the way Splitter has been playing and since Miami has started Miller the last two games, I thought it was inevitable that Ginobli would start.
Guest (05 June 2013 - 12:36 AM) I agree it is going to be a good series. It just sucks I have to choose between the Spurs getting #5 in the Duncan, Ginobli and Parker era or Miami actually getting to put some weight behind Lerbron's "not one, not two, not three, not four" debacle of a comment.
Guest (04 June 2013 - 05:45 AM) Meh..not for me. I don't like the Heat or Spurs, so I have no team to remotely root for.
Guest (04 May 2013 - 06:50 AM) Damn..who knew tonight was gonna be close out the series night? Four Games 6s and four closeouts.
Guest (02 May 2013 - 05:54 AM) Win or lose Friday night I can now rest easy knowing the Rockets didn't get swept and won two games to force a game 6. Any other wins is just icing on the cake.
Guest (25 April 2013 - 03:20 AM) Well even though we lost, I was happy with how we performed. Sucked Lin had to miss the second half. Beverly as a starter was gold Jerry...gold...a few missed 3 point shots and free throws toward the end hurt us. Those and the rust on AB.
Guest (23 April 2013 - 05:37 AM) Indeed.
Guest (23 April 2013 - 04:57 AM) Well we'll see. Anything will be better than what we did in game 1, so I'm up for anything. I just don't know if D-Mo is the answer.
Guest (23 April 2013 - 02:00 AM) Parsons'*
Guest (23 April 2013 - 02:00 AM) Tjones release looks awkward? Have you seen D-Mo's 3-point shot? Every shot looks like Parson's laser shot from the Lakers game except they just clank off the rim. Maybe I'll have to see some more video of D-Mo but from what I've seen, his shot is far from textbook.
Guest (23 April 2013 - 12:03 AM) Meh..I think D-Mo needs more work in the offseason before he can be a viable option. I'd rather have Jones play his minutes. Atleast Jones can rebound, block a shot or two, and can pretend to shoot the three better than D-Mo.
Guest (22 April 2013 - 10:04 PM) Maybe but Ibaka totally took over the game last night, so he is doing something right.
Guest (22 April 2013 - 08:56 PM) I don't know I would disagree on D-MO. In all the games I've seen him in, his outside shot has looked horrible and his post up moves aren't crafty enough to fool Ibaka.
Guest (22 April 2013 - 04:04 AM) Indeed. Atleast game 2 is the 6 pm game.
Guest (22 April 2013 - 04:01 AM) Yeah looking at this game, Westbrook really does look like a better version of Harden.
Guest (22 April 2013 - 03:55 AM) Only good thing so far is that in game 2 the score starts over at 0-0.
Guest (17 April 2013 - 12:38 PM) And by blowout I mean 10+ points. If we are only up 6 or less, God help us.
Guest (17 April 2013 - 12:37 PM) Yeah I feel the only way the Rockets win this game is with a blowout which is unlikely. If it is even remotely close, they are screwed.
Guest (26 February 2013 - 01:50 AM) We are 2 games out in the loss column for the 7th and 4 games in the loss column for the 6th. We are closer in reality because we played more games.
