Before the commencement of the San Antonio Spurs’ season against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday evening, Wembanyama was spotted in the arena limbering up by juggling tennis balls while performing squats and lunges.
The towering 7’4″ center is entering his sophomore year in the league, and he appears determined to improve every facet of his game following a stellar rookie season. Prior to the game against the Spurs’ regional adversaries, Wembanyama was perfecting his hand-eye coordination and demonstrating remarkable balance for someone of his height.

Wembanyama was entirely focused as he juggled the tennis balls effortlessly, incorporating lunges to increase the complexity of his drill.
As the former number one draft pick, he averaged 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, and led the league with 3.6 blocks per game in his first year. He is poised to elevate his game in his second season and possibly lead San Antonio to their first playoff appearance since the 2019-20 season.
