Before the Golden State Warriors secured a 117–114 victory against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night, Curry was spotted at the Chase Center wearing a T-shirt featuring MiLaysia Fulwiley, a prominent sophomore from the reigning national champion South Carolina women’s basketball team.
While browsing social media, Fulwiley noticed Curry sporting her shirt.
“It’s a blessing, man. I was almost moved to tears when I saw it,” Fulwiley shared during an interview with Fox 57. “Considering my background and where I come from, this is something unheard of. It makes me proud of what I’ve achieved. I just need to keep pushing forward, trust the journey and stay focused because it puts me on the radar of influential figures like Steph,” she added.

Curry’s decision to wear Fulwiley’s shirt wasn’t just a spontaneous act. Last March, Fulwiley entered a multi-year Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) agreement with the Curry Brand, making her the first college athlete to directly collaborate with Curry’s apparel line.
Following this, Fulwiley shined in the Gamecocks’ 108–48 win against Tennessee Tech, where she scored 15 points and provided five assists in just 19 minutes of play.
Meanwhile, Curry is recuperating from a pelvic contusion he sustained that same Thursday night. While he may miss a few upcoming games, Curry remains keenly interested in the NCAA women’s basketball tournament, particularly the games involving South Carolina.
