Sjana, a young Inuit woman, lives in a remote village at the heart of the Arctic. Like many in her community, she married her high school sweetheart. Now a mother to young Bun, Sjana begins to question her marriage to Ting, the town’s “golden boy” who often treats her more like a selfie stick than a partner. After surviving a boat accident caused by Ting’s negligence, Sjana decides to find meaning in her life and reinvent herself. In a village where everyone has known each other since birth, this proves to be a challenging task.
