On Sunday, the New York Knicks suffered a significant defeat, losing 118-105 to the Boston Celtics. Despite holding a solid season record of 37-20, the Knicks have yet to secure a win against Boston, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Oklahoma City Thunder this season, with a record of 0-7 against these leading NBA teams.

Further adding to the Knicks’ woes, the NBA imposed a $2,000 fine on New York’s Josh Hart for flopping during the postgame review on Monday.

During the game, Hart was notably involved in two conspicuous flopping incidents, which rightly drew reactions from fans. However, the fined incident occurred after a turnover by the Celtics in the third quarter, where Hart exaggerated a slight contact from guard Jrue Holiday and dramatically threw himself on the floor of TD Garden.

Here’s the moment:

Fortunately for the Celtics, the officials did not call a foul on the play.

In spite of the controversy, Hart was a standout performer in Sunday’s game, nearly achieving a triple-double with his 20 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists.

Looking ahead, the Knicks are set to face the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, with the game starting at 7:00 p.m. EST.
