Following his unexpected trade from the Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers, reports surfaced from his former team suggesting doubts about his physical condition. While the desire for a new beginning is genuine, this revelation likely spurred Doncic to disprove his former team’s skepticism.
Since the trade, Doncic has recorded averages of 28.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.5 assists over 28 games with the Lakers.
With his transformed appearance, it remains to be seen how the five-time first-team All-NBA guard will perform in the upcoming season for the Lakers.
