LeBron James has reached the pinnacle of basketball success. His impressive resume includes four NBA championships, four MVP awards, 20 All-Star appearances, the title of the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, and three Olympic gold medals. Additionally, he holds the distinction of being the oldest active player in the NBA.

As he prepared for his 22nd NBA season, James addressed the media following a practice session with the Los Angeles Lakers. A journalist inquired whether there was anything more he aspired to achieve in his basketball career.

After a brief pause, James responded frankly, “As a basketball player? No. Anything more is just icing on the cake. But I’ll gladly accept it, I adore what I do. Yet, I don’t need more—I have it all,” reported Lauren Jones from The Sporting Tribune.

In the 2024-25 season, James is set to make history alongside his eldest son, Bronny, by becoming the NBA’s first father-son duo to compete simultaneously. This milestone appears to be the last item on LeBron’s professional checklist, and he expressed immense satisfaction with his career achievements since his 2003 debut.

Though he remains eager to secure another championship ring and vie for a title with the Lakers this season, James openly acknowledges his pride in his career accomplishments and feels fulfilled with his on-court contributions.
