JJ, if you’re going to challenge the king, you’d better not miss, because I can come after you. Remember, I cover your Lakers games. You can’t cover up those flaws they have. You’re just a dead man walking. They fired Frank Vogel and Darvin Ham, both of whom did good jobs. You thought you could make a difference with the same bad team—the Lakers are just bad.”

“He thought he could make it work. No way you can. It’s like putting lipstick on a pig. The Lakers are just bad, man. Seriously,” Barkley continued.
The next day, Redick acknowledged that he had seen the video of Barkley’s comments. “I literally don’t care,” he stated.
