A source within the league has confirmed the Sacramento Kings’ signing of Brodric Thomas to complete their training camp squad, which now totals 21 players. Thomas, a 27-year-old guard, has previously played for the Rockets, Cavaliers, and Celtics, and he was named to the All-NBA G League Second Team in 2021.

Standing at 6 feet 5 inches, Thomas went undrafted in 2020 but has since played for the Houston Rockets, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Boston Celtics.
Thomas recently showcased his skills during the G League Fall Invitational with NBA G League United, where he played two games and averaged 17.5 points and 2.0 steals per game, boasting impressive shooting splits of 63.2/62.5/85.7.

Thomas graduated from Truman State, a Division II school, where he averaged 21.5 points per game with a 41.7 percent success rate from the three-point line in his final season. He spent most of his NBA career in Cleveland, averaging 4.1 points in 13.4 minutes per game across 28 appearances, including one start.
In the 2023-24 G League season, Thomas played for the Los Angeles Clippers’ G League affiliate in San Diego, averaging 9.8 points and 1.9 steals over ten games.
Thomas’s addition brings the Kings’ training camp roster to a total of 21 players as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Thomas’s inclusion in the Kings’ roster introduces another skilled guard into the mix, providing him with an opportunity to stand out amidst the intense competition in Sacramento.
A strong performance at the camp could very well secure Thomas a spot with the Stockton Kings for the upcoming season.
