Devin Booker is eagerly anticipating the upcoming game between his beloved Detroit Lions and the Washington Commanders, set to take place at Ford Field on Saturday evening. Coincidentally, Booker’s team, the Phoenix Suns, is scheduled to face the Detroit Pistons on the same day, just four hours prior and nearby. The timing couldn’t be more perfect.

Hailing from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Booker was seen boarding the team bus en route to Little Caesars Arena, sporting a classic Lions jacket. He also subtly showcased his support on the basketball court, with his sneakers featuring a small Lions emblem.

Booker took his dedication a step further by customizing his own Nike Book 1 sneakers with the Lions logo, specifically for his game in Detroit. Last season, in a conversation with ESPN’s Eric Woodyard, Booker expressed his deep-rooted fandom for all Detroit sports teams, including the Red Wings, Pistons, Tigers, and of course, the Lions. He reminisced about how watching Lions games was a cherished Sunday family tradition growing up.

According to The Detroit News, Booker plans to attend the Lions’ critical divisional game against the Commanders right after he plays against the Pistons. Kevin Durant, Booker’s teammate and a native of Washington D.C., is also expected to attend. Durant, who is a Commanders fan, will be there to support his hometown team.
