Hurmevaara is typically a quiet village until a meteorite crashes onto a resident’s car. The town’s mayor sees this as an opportunity to rejuvenate the struggling village. While waiting for the meteorite to be analyzed, he assigns Joel, the local police officer and priest, to safeguard it. Joel quickly realizes that the rock draws attention from curious onlookers and potential thieves, complicating his task.
