On a historic Friday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers achieved a new milestone by recording their 16th consecutive victory, the longest winning streak in the franchise’s history.

In their latest game, the Cavs triumphed over the Memphis Grizzlies with a score of 133-124, marking this significant achievement. This victory advanced Cleveland’s season tally to 56 wins and just 10 losses. Notably, the Cavaliers are only the seventh team in NBA history to secure 56 wins in their first 66 games. According to Cavaliers expert Danny Cunningham, four of the previous six teams who achieved this went on to win the NBA championship. Earlier in the season, the Cavaliers had also enjoyed a 15-game winning streak.

Additionally, during each game of their 16-game winning streak, the Cavaliers scored a minimum of 105 points.

Despite being sidelined due to a groin injury for the past two games, Cleveland’s leading scorer Donovan Mitchell actively participated by live tweeting during the game, expressing his joy over the team’s historic success.

In the memorable game against Memphis, Cavaliers forward Evan Mobley achieved a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Darius Garland contributed 20 points, two rebounds, and nine assists.

The Cavaliers look to extend their record-breaking streak in their next game on Sunday against the Orlando Magic, as fans and followers eagerly anticipate how far the streak can go.
