Garland suffered a setback with his toe injury during the Cavaliers’ win in Game 2 earlier this week. Despite hopes from the medical team that he might recover in time after a pregame workout attempt, Garland was ultimately unable to proceed with the warm-up due to his injury.
The team is optimistic that the rest days on Saturday and Sunday will allow Garland to potentially play in Game 4 on Monday. This upcoming game could potentially end the series if the Cavaliers secure a victory in Game 3.
