The fair’s creative team has built a brand-new pirate-themed speakeasy inspired by the same minds behind Fright Nights. According to fair president Matt Wallsmith, the hidden hangout brings over-the-top creativity to the fair in a family-friendly way. Guests will hunt for clues to find the secret entrance, then enjoy pirate-themed drinks and kid-friendly mocktails. The speakeasy features cave-like walls, barrels, treasure chests, and professional actors dressed as famous pirates.
Fair enthusiasts won’t find this attraction marked on any map. You’ll need to explore the fairgrounds to discover the treasure yourself. Once inside, creative experiences and signature cocktails await.

Beyond the speakeasy, new rides and shows make this year truly special. The Skull and Crossbones Wheel of Death is touted as the world’s only pirate-themed high wire stunt. The Pirates of the Colombian Caribbean perform death-defying acrobatics while walking the wire, delivering thrilling entertainment.
The fair also features 19 pirate-themed food items through the Taste the Treasure Tour. From fried delicacies to carnival favorites given a pirate twist, fairgoers can indulge in classic fair food with a buccaneering spin.
