Users collectively sent 744 billion messages and posted trillions of reactions throughout the year. The most-used emoji globally was the red heart ❤️, reflecting the affection users have for their friends.
League of Legends dominated as the most-played game, continuing its reign after over 16 years. Rematch, a competitive 5v5 football game, emerged as one of the fastest-growing games on the platform. R.E.P.O. leads as the most popular indie game, while Marvel Rivals, Minecraft, and Genshin Impact round out the top gaming communities.
How to Share Your Checkpoint Results and Optional Sharing Features
After viewing your personal Checkpoint, you’ll receive an option to easily share a quick summary directly in chat. The sharing feature includes a shareable Checkpoint embed that displays your results to friends and server members. Discord makes sharing optional, so your recap remains private if you choose not to post it.
Many players are using their Checkpoint results to compare gaming habits and friendships with their communities. The embed format makes it easy to show off your stats without manually typing details. Your Checkpoint remains viewable until January 15, 2026, giving you months to decide when to share your year-end recap with others. This marks the first time Discord is officially celebrating user activity in this personalized, shareable way.
