@  SadLakerFan : (16 September 2015 - 04:37 AM) Man, as a Laker fan, I'm learning how little you care about the off season when your team sucks. Anyway, a quick moment to remember Moses. Still remember watching the 81 team as a kid - losing record, NBA Finals. I would have cried w/joy if they could have beaten the Celtics.
@  jorgeaam : (15 September 2015 - 08:30 PM) http://bleacherrepor...ist-after-crash
@  jorgeaam : (15 September 2015 - 08:30 PM) So to celebrate his new contract, Montrezl Harrell saved someone's life on monday
@  thejohnnygold : (14 September 2015 - 04:36 PM) A good article from Blinebury talking about when Hakeem and Moses used to play in the park. LINK
@  rockets best... : (14 September 2015 - 02:29 AM) I agree totally. I got to watch his Rocket days and the man was a hell of a player. BIG MO R.I.P.
@  Mario Peña : (13 September 2015 - 05:24 PM) Sad to see Moses pass. I don't remember watching him as a Rocket but I do remember his Philly and Hawks teams. He was the perfect man to mentor Dream. It's a very sad day for his family and friends and there are many.
@  majik19 : (12 September 2015 - 09:01 PM) i just saw a post wishing Yao Ming a happy 35th birthday... am I the only one whose mind is blown that he's only 35?
@  cointurtlemoose : (08 September 2015 - 01:17 AM) aaaah, thanks jorge
@  jorgeaam : (08 September 2015 - 12:21 AM) Love it how Hinkie and Morey always target the same players, but hoping he isn't another Covington
@  thejohnnygold : (08 September 2015 - 12:03 AM) Christian Wood has signed with Philly
@  jorgeaam : (07 September 2015 - 10:32 PM) If I'm not wrong, he hasn't been waived yet, they have until october 4th to do that
@  cointurtlemoose : (07 September 2015 - 05:39 PM) Anyone else surprised that Kostas hasn't gotten picked up by anyone yet? I wanna see that guy play somewhere

It's in poor taste, but it's funny so enjoy this t-shirt graphic some creative folks have come out with.

Here's a link to their site: LINK They have all kinds of fun Houston sports/culture gear.

JG - that is so wrong lol

Yeah, this is a non-issue in my book.  D-Mo seems bright enough to recognize that he is entering a season on a true championship contender having previously established himself as a legitimate starter who still has upside.  He will get plenty of opportunities to improve on his game while thinking about the max (or near max) deal he is going to get after this season.

I'm not worried about his back.  I'm not worried about his attitude.  I'm not worried about his role.

I'm more concerned with this squad creating 20 point 4th quarter leads so that we can watch McDaniels, Harrell, and co. do their thing.  Otherwise, the only way we see them is if we have another injury-riddled season like last year.

I hope McDaniels and Ariza are spending lots of time together.  It seems like a natural progression for KJ to evolve into the caliber and type of player Trevor is.  Ariza will be 33 when his contract expires...perhaps he will slide into a Jason Terry role and let McDaniels take the reigns...

I think I'm most excited about our second unit.  We all know the starters are going to be ridiculous.  I think the key to those 4th quarter blowouts is what the second unit brings.  Beverley, Thornton, Brewer, Motiejunas (despite my desire for him to play with the starters), and Capela are going to destroy other benches.  That's solid offense and plenty of defense.

As far as the second unit is concerned, Harden recently said that it has not been decided if Lawson will start or be the 6th man. Personally, I would love to see a 2nd unit of Lawson, Jet, Brewer, Tjones, Capella. The first unit would play with pace like a Porsche, then the 2nd unit would come in and take the pace to even higher level, like a Ferrari. Teams are going to get winded quickly. This would be so much fun to watch.

Yes. It hasn't been that long. It was back in March. Things have been quite civil lately. I think there are a handful of reasons for that. However it happened--I'm glad it did.

Once the season starts, the discussions will be more intense, but they will not come close to the 2013-14 season discussions

Which is why I said "vast majority" and not all. There is a reason 99% of them left the forum once Lin got traded.

Can you remember that the last time a moderator had to give a warning?

Yeah...the debate is a lot more civil nowadays....

It is nice not having posters insulting each other
