(16 September 2015 - 04:37 AM)Man, as a Laker fan, I'm learning how little you care about the off season when your team sucks. Anyway, a quick moment to remember Moses. Still remember watching the 81 team as a kid - losing record, NBA Finals. I would have cried w/joy if they could have beaten the Celtics.
(13 September 2015 - 05:24 PM)Sad to see Moses pass. I don't remember watching him as a Rocket but I do remember his Philly and Hawks teams. He was the perfect man to mentor Dream. It's a very sad day for his family and friends and there are many.
(03 September 2015 - 02:26 AM)theres more articles all over, but the jist is houston (and texas) doesn't really arrest for it, they just recommend you leave it in your car when they catch it. So seems dwight got lucky he was in texas and not cali or the NE.
(03 September 2015 - 01:42 AM)one bullet left in the chamber is diff than fully loaded and ready to go. Still stupid...but not like he was prepared for a shooting spree.
Well, not my best start to a week with the 2 postponed games costing me 4 games plus MCW not playing due to an illness. I'll definitely miss that against the toughest team in the league.
The 4th playoff spot is still a wildcard, as 5 teams are fighting for it. So it seems it's going to be a great fight this next 6 weeks.
Week 10 is here and we're already halfway trough! I don't know if you've checked the standings but there are 4 teams with a 4-5 record and tied for the last playoff spot. It seems I might have a tough week since Al Jefferson and Nerlens Noel look like they're going to miss the next few games How's your team doing so far?
Wow, just thought I would make a post about this, I find it unbelievable that a franchise would fire a coach who started the season 9-6 (they're at 11-13 right now, but DeMarcus Cousins has been out for 9 games), this coach was actually responsible for Boogie's new found maturity and Rudy Gay's efficiency, I know that I'm starting to sound like a Kings follower, but here's the part that made me create this post, the reason why Malone was fired (along with him not meeting 'win-loss expectations from ownership) , from Wojnarowski:
" Owner Vivek Ranadive has wanted the Kings to play a faster style of basketball, and D'Alessandro – who has worked with Don Nelson in Golden State and Karl in Denver – has sought a similar style. "
Really? You just fire a good coach because he doesn't play the way you want? Results are worth nothing?
Whatever, I could go on, but I don't even follow Kings basketball, maybe there was more than meets the eye. But it makes me mad to think that an owner can take his team into mediocrity because he thinks he knows better (I'm also looking at you, James Dolan), also, this is the same owner that said basketball should be played with a 4-on-5 defense, 'leaving one player to cherry-pick', just ridiculous.
I would actually like to know some of your opinions on this matter, maybe I'm just too far-fetched
