KJ has a reputation for being an excellent defender. And he is taller than most point guards and can jump out of the gym. If he can hit the corner three at 35%+ he will be a valuable NBA player. And yes players can improve their three point shot. Just look at D-Mo.
Houston gets a couple of dozen wide open looks at the three every game. KJ could be a valuable addition down the line.
What does him being taller than most point guards has to do with him? He's a SG/SF and can't handle the ball/pass, so he won't be playing PG in his career.
I do agree that his athleticism is very good. But I don't see him making the leap to be a reliable source of 3 point shooting, at least not at this point in his career, and Houston isn't the kind of team that will take 3+ years developing a player who might never pan out, as we've seen with Covington, Canaan, Marcus Morris, etc.
