Still remember watching the 81 team as a kid - losing record, NBA Finals. I would have cried w/joy if they could have beaten the Celtics.

On some Mavs boards there are extended conversations about them being a top four Western Conference team or knocking the Clippers out of the playoffs which are not possible as I see it. If they were to have problems with injuries (Mathews, Dirk, Williams, Parsons) I don't see them doing much besides hovering around .500 during the regular season and not even sniff the playoffs.

Harden had sacrificed as a bench player for years, then last year was thrust into the spotlight and put the team on his shoulders. This year Howard is here and Lin, Jones and others have made great improvements so now Harden is learning once again to lead on the court, he is win share leader because he wins.
