    Done deal now.

So we acquire a 2nd year swing man coming off a stint in the D-league because he couldn’t act like a professional. I hope there’s more here because I’m not sure a risk on immaturity is worth the future 1st.

I know nothing about this guy. But I have no problem with immaturity issues. Just simply because if you only stick to nice guys, you’re left with a team of 6′8 pf’s and unathletic wings. Gotta be willing to take chances if you want diamonds.

I haven’t any impression on the guy, but looking at his stats, he’s able to achieve 4.5 boards and 3 assists in 21 minutes as a shooting guard, which I think suggests he’s a pretty good all round player.
Don’t know about his defense though.

Also, I’m really wondering if Morey did this partly to help melo to arrive in new jersey? Now, NJ has so much to offer for melo and can definately pull off a move, saving some deterioration of value to the Knick’s 2 picks.

Perfect timing for the Ben Heller post, it seems JT is the one gone now: Via http://twitter.com/Jonathan_Feigen: “Pick Rockets sending NJ is lottery protected. Rockets working on another deal to move Jermaine Taylor to create room for Terrence Williams”

Ohh yeah T-Will!!! We are gonna destroy teams when Yao comes back. I grew up with Terrance here in the 206 now your gonna watch him bloom into a star.

Is this the superstar we’ve been saving these 1st rounders for? I’d rather have Randolph than Williams…

I think this is a steal. Terrence Williams has personality issues, I hear, but he’s going to be the loan hothead in a very level-headed lockerroom. I trust the guys we’ve got to help sort him out. He gives us the depth at the three that we needed to make up for Bud’s horribleness this season, he can score without being a liability on defence like Martin and Brooks, and gives us something a bit different with his athleticism.

What do we give up? Taylor, who has shown potential but not the the same extent as T-Will, and a lottery protected pick in 2012. So if we decide to blow up the team next year (and I think this a move that implies we won’t be doing that) then we’ve got some insurance. Sweet.

Dec 9 G/F Terrence Williams spent three games in the D-League and came back sounding like a completely changed man. “What drove it home was my mother crying. My mom didn’t cry in I don’t know how many years,” Williams said. “She thought I was out of the NBA for good. I had to explain to her the situation. Her crying really got to me.” But what also helped Williams see the folly that his constant lateness caused was when he spoke to a 12-year-old ball boy before his first game for the Springfield Armor. “At the start of the first game, I said, ‘Do you watch the NBA?’ and he said ‘Yeah, you’re one of the players I watch, and why would you want to blow it?’” Williams related. The kid said that he’d do anything to be an NBA player and that Williams was wasting his chance. “It’s a 12-year-old telling me that,” Williams said. “That and my mom crying was what really got to me. So down there I decided to take everything serious.”

Perhaps he’s ready to take things seriously now? Here’s hoping!
