Let's hope that Mr. Anderson can give my Raps the shot in the arm they need and I would agree that the T-Wolves have made a few quizzical moves as of late.

Von Waaaaaafer!!!!
Going to the team he handed a tough loss to in 2009.
Celtics are going to be a good fit for him. I bet Doc will be his kind of coach.
I'm still confused why he failed his physical in 10 when we tried to re-acquire him.
This gives me yet another reason to watch the Celtics in 10-11 season.

Stephen,

Thanks for doing some more digging into the Rockets offensive makeup for 2009/10. Is there any correlation number of people with >200FTA/season with winning? Is this a deliberate team construction by DMorey or a result of a team without Yao Ming? The 5% change in shots/game (1/quarter) means the average possession decreased from 16 to 15 seconds/ possession, not much change.

I think basketball is a game that is difficult to analyze by statistics. Team offensive/defensive strategy employed plays a huge role in the outcome. To get a meaningful look you almost have to look at everything, players on the floor, who the opposition have on the floor, scheme used, plays run - pick & roll, triangle offense etc.

With that said, the current roster stands to gain more # of FTA's this coming year with Martin and Yao coming back. What's impressive is that the rockets gained FTAttempts without Yao.
