I'm not so down on Iggy. In some way, he's a better fit than Melo: superb defender, excellent rebounder, excellent passer. His problem in Philly was the same problem that Ariza had in Houston the first half of last year: he can't really generate offense on his own, but that's what his team needs him to do. Put him on the team where he is the fourth or fifth option, and I'd bet he'd thrive. I wouldn't mind the big contract so much, but then again its Les Alexander's money and not my own.

Re. Iguodala, I didn't see anything in that article indicating something changed in the Sixers offering of him. I'm sure they are, but I mean there's nothing in there about anything coming out of the Sixers organization. Either way, I don't personally want Iguodala, just because of his salary. I mean, he'd be a strictly better version of Artest (except maybe spot up 3pt shooting), but meh. I like the team as is, paying a constant stream of cheap and overproductive players biding our time for a superstar.

re- Iggy – I enjoyed the article…I know the pendelum has swung to Anthony, but I think Iggy would be a great piece for the Rockets, and available for a nice price tag. Of course we have to swing for the fences to get a star like Anthony, but part of me also like the Rockets as a team of hard working role players, and I think Iggy would fit in well with the culture. If the pre-season ends without Anthony on board, Iggy would be a nice consolation prize.
