Conversely, the challenges have sometimes painted Green as unpredictable and volatile, particularly highlighted by an incident that Kerr recalled during a recent appearance on The Dan Le Batard Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n

When asked about the most upset he’s ever been with Green, Kerr pointedly referred to a specific altercation. “Definitely the Jordan Poole incident,” he remarked.<\/p>\n

This incident involved Green striking former Warriors guard Jordan Poole during a practice session on October 5, 2022. The event cast a long shadow over the team’s season, which turned out to be one of their least successful ones under Kerr’s leadership in terms of win percentage.<\/p>\n

Discussing the incident further on the show, Kerr explained, “He crossed the line with Jordan and he knows it. He realized it right away, and it made that season incredibly tough for everyone involved.”<\/p>\n
