On a recent episode of his podcast, Club 520<\/em>, ex-NBA player Jeff Teague made some controversial statements last Wednesday.<\/p>\n

While discussing the peak periods of LeBron James’s career with his co-hosts, Teague expressed his opinion that James was at his best during his time with the Miami Heat. He then shockingly claimed that James had been using steroids.<\/p>\n

“He was on steroids. He had to take a break, he was definitely on steroids. Allegedly,” Teague remarked. “Once they began testing for HGH… he took a break. He complained of back pain, sat out for about three weeks, and returned looking much leaner.”<\/p>\n

Not surprisingly, Teague’s accusations about James using performance-enhancing drugs spread rapidly across social media. This led Teague to later clarify that his statements were meant in jest.<\/p>\n

Teague took to Instagram to explain, posting a story that read, “Y’all weird I was joking about [LeBron] he was just that dominant chill.”<\/p>\n
