The separation between Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors this offseason was relatively smooth, but seeing him compete against his former team might still stir some emotions.<\/p>\n

While attending a WNBA game between the Las Vegas Aces and the New York Liberty at the Barclays Center, both Steph Curry and Klay Thompson were spotted. It appeared that the meetup was not planned, as they were seated far apart during the event.<\/p>\n

During the game, Thompson was seen engaging in conversation with his new Dallas Mavericks teammate Dereck Lively. Curry caught sight of this and approached them, playfully expressing his distaste by saying, \u201cEw, ew\u201d and gesturing as if something smelled bad.<\/p>\n

However, the interaction was all in jest, and Curry was seen chatting and laughing with Thompson shortly after the playful gesture.<\/p>\n

Thompson has recently left the Warriors and inked a three-year deal worth $50 million with the Mavericks, where he will join forces with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. He is scheduled to face his former team, the Warriors, for the first time on February 12 at the American Airlines Center.<\/p>\n
