\nKlay Thompson vividly recalls his challenging 0-for-10 shooting night during the Golden State Warriors’ play-in defeat against the Sacramento Kings last season, a moment repeatedly highlighted across social media.\n<\/p>\n

\nEntering the Golden 1 Center on Wednesday evening, Thompson was still overshadowed by the unpleasant memories of his previous performance. However, he managed to overcome this in the Dallas Mavericks’ convincing 120-106 victory over Sacramento in the play-in tournament.\n<\/p>\n

\n“It did feel good to exorcise those demons in here, man,” Thompson expressed to Scott Van Pelt on SportsCenter<\/em> post-game.\n<\/p>\n

\nThompson showcased his classic form by scoring 23 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including 5-of-7 from beyond the arc, significantly contributing to the Mavericks’ win. This victory keeps Dallas in the running, setting them up against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night for the eighth and final playoff slot in the Western Conference.\n<\/p>\n
