On a recent Wednesday night, the Sacramento Kings played against the Dallas Mavericks in a key Western Conference matchup. Although the home team was behind by 23 points at the break, the crowd found other sources of entertainment.<\/p>\n

Their spirits were lifted by the Arco Perfect Pump, a popular fan contest held during NBA games.<\/p>\n

For those not familiar, the Arco Perfect Pump challenge involves fans attempting to pump exactly $25 worth of gas using a simulated gas pump. At this particular game, two participants first hit the mark perfectly and then both pumped exactly $25.20 in a tiebreaker round.<\/p>\n

The game could have easily been overshadowed by this exciting showdown, with fans likely preferring to watch a prolonged pump-off rather than the basketball game. However, the contest was moved aside to resume the game, and a rock paper scissors match was suggested to determine the winner.<\/p>\n

The crowd expressed their disapproval of this decision with boos. Acknowledging the audience’s reaction, the event host dismissed the rock paper scissors idea and declared both contestants as winners.<\/p>\n
