The Golden State Warriors are currently without their key player, Steph Curry, as they embark on a six-game away stretch. Curry sustained a pelvic injury following a severe fall in a recent victory at home against the Toronto Raptors. He subsequently had an MRI that verified the pelvic bruise but thankfully revealed no further structural harm.<\/p>\n

NBA analyst Shams Charania from ESPN first broke the news that Curry would need to sit out for a bit, likely missing the beginning of the Warriors’ road games. Curry was absent from the lineup during the Warriors’ inaugural road contest, where they faced a defeat against the Hawks in Atlanta. However, there’s a chance he could return to the court relatively soon. Charania reported that Curry is on his way to meet up with the Warriors in Miami for their upcoming match against the Heat.<\/p>\n

Whether he will play depends on how well his injury responds to treatment prior to the game.<\/p>\n

Regardless of whether Curry is able to participate in the Tuesday game in Miami, his return appears to be on the horizon. This game is also significant as it marks Jimmy Butler’s first game in Miami since his trade from the Heat to the Warriors following some tensions with his former team.<\/p>\n

Since acquiring Butler, the Warriors have experienced a surge, including a seven-game winning streak that ended on March 17 against the Denver Nuggets. They currently stand at a 41-30 record, aiming to secure a top-six position in the Western Conference to bypass the play-in tournament.<\/p>\n

If Curry is unable to play by Tuesday, he will have additional time to recover as the Warriors’ next game on this road trip isn’t until Friday, when they face the New Orleans Pelicans.<\/p>\n
