Russell, in his second tenure with the Nets, clinched the game with a game-winning three-pointer shortly after Johnson’s vital shot.<\/p>\n

This was only the second three-pointer made by Russell in what was otherwise a challenging game for the former All-Star. Leading the scoring for Brooklyn, Johnson finished the game with 22 points, the second highest in his career.<\/p>\n

With this victory, the Nets’ record improves to 17\u201333. They are now just four games away from a spot in the NBA’s play-in tournament,<\/p>\n
