Victor Wembanyama’s Jaw-Dropping No-Look Block Against the Jazz Goes Viral!

On a spectacular Tuesday evening, Victor Wembanyama delivered a stunning performance in the San Antonio Spurs’ victory over the Utah Jazz. Wembanyama scored 34 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and blocked three shots. One of these blocks was particularly impressive; as Jazz guard Johnny Juzang drove toward the basket, he waited for Wembanyama to turn his head before attempting a layup.

However, Wembanyama, feigning disinterest, leaped and swatted the shot away without fully seeing the action unfold.

Despite his excellent performance, Wembanyama’s shooting still suggests there was room for improvement. He successfully made six out of 14 attempts from the three-point line, meaning he scored on seven of his nine attempts from closer range. Analyzing his shot chart can be perplexing, even by modern NBA standards—he missed only once inside the paint and took most of his shots from mid-range.

Although he could have opted for simpler shots, his performance still makes for an impressive highlight compilation.
