“My choice is LeBron James,” said Wembanyama in an interview with NBA TV. “To be underrated is to not be valued properly. And I believe LeBron is underrated.”

Wembanyama didn’t provide further details in the clip, but it’s clear that despite the widespread acclaim James has received for his significant achievements and skills, Wembanyama feels James hasn’t been fully recognized for his contributions.

This season, his 22nd, he’s averaging 24.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 9.0 assists per game, making him fourth in the league for assists.

Despite his prolonged excellence, it could be argued that his consistent high-level performance has led to an underappreciation of his unique achievements.
