For those who relish suspense and heroes in dire straits, dive into The Madness, a series now streaming on Netflix. Here’s what you need to know about the show.

Accused, stand up… and run! In this thrilling series, the protagonist is constantly on edge after stumbling upon a murder he’s blamed for. The Madness made its debut on Netflix on November 28, 2024. In the vein of classic thrillers like The Shawshank Redemption, The Fugitive, or Presumed Innocent, our hero, wrongfully present at a crime scene, finds his life turned upside down in seconds after discovering a dead body.

Developed by Stephen Belber (What we do next, The Laramie Project) and co-showrunner VJ Boyd (Justified, S.W.A.T.), The Madness reimagines the conspiracy thriller genre by weaving in moral dilemmas. Starring Colman Domingo (Euphoria, Fear the Walking Dead, The Color Purple), the cast includes Marsha Stephanie Blake (Orange is the New Black), Gabrielle Graham (In the Shadow of the Moon), and John Ortiz (Fast & Furious, Silver Linings Playbook).

What is The Madness Series About?
