A cop with a troubled past and aggressive tactics, big guns, high-speed chases, and plenty of bloodshed set against a backdrop of drug trafficking and political intrigue: that’s what’s on offer in Ravage. With this new thriller, Netflix delivers a fast-paced action movie carried by Tom Hardy and Forest Whitaker, rivaling the top films in the genre.
Directed by Gareth Evans, known for the The Raid trilogy, the final version of Ravage took some time to materialize. Following four months of filming in Wales from July to October 2021, the film initially received poor reviews from Netflix, prompting additional scenes to be shot in 2024. The blockbuster finally makes its debut on the platform on April 25, 2025.
