Basketball player Payton Pritchard concluded his remarkable summer by marrying YouTube star Emma MacDonald. The wedding took place on Cape Cod and was attended by several basketball figures, including ex-teammate Blake Griffin who served as the officiant for the ceremony.
Having played together in Boston for a single season, Pritchard and Griffin became close. Fellow player Jaylen Brown shared footage of the wedding on Instagram. Pritchard and MacDonald also held a private vow exchange on the morning of their wedding over a cup of coffee.

The wedding festivities were spread over several days, starting with a welcome party on Thursday, followed by a rehearsal dinner on Friday, the wedding on Saturday, and concluded with a pool party at the couple’s residence on Sunday. The Larry O’Brien trophy was also present at the ceremony. Attendees included Jaylen Brown, Xavier Tillman, Jaden Springer, and Sam Hauser, along with Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck and coach Joe Mazzulla.

This season, Pritchard averaged nine rebounds, three assists, and three rebounds per game for the Celtics. He contributed some noteworthy performances during Boston’s path to the NBA championship due to his readiness to make long shots at quarter ends.
