NBA players, especially those who are in the running for MVP, like Oklahoma City Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, are often inundated with requests for autographs at each game, particularly from the fans at their home court. Occasionally, these players encounter some unusual signing requests, including items and, sometimes, even people.
This past Sunday, in an odd turn of events, a fan asked Gilgeous-Alexander to autograph his infant before the game began. SGA, with a slight grin, complied with the fan’s peculiar request.

Just after returning an item to another spectator, Gilgeous-Alexander turned around to see a baby being held up by another fan. Without any hesitation, he began to sign the baby’s bare back.
Although signing a baby is definitely not a common request, Gilgeous-Alexander took it in stride and appeared quite entertained by the unusual autograph session.
That evening, the Oklahoma City Thunder hosted the Brooklyn Nets, aiming to build on their impressive 34–7 record, the best in the Western Conference. The star guard contributed significantly, scoring 15 points and providing six assists in just the first half, helping the Thunder secure a 20-point lead by halftime.
