The Denver Nuggets have evened out their playoff series with the Los Angeles Clippers.

In a dramatic finish, Aaron Gordon secured a victory for the Nuggets by slamming home a missed shot by Nikola Jokic as time expired during their Saturday matchup.

The game was knotted at 99 all after Ivica Zubac of the Clippers made a game-tying basket with just eight seconds left on the clock. Jokic then attempted a spinning fadeaway shot in the last possession for the Nuggets, which missed the hoop entirely but was caught and dunked by Gordon just as the buzzer sounded, illuminating the backboard with red lights.

Officials confirmed the basket was good after reviewing the replay, confirming the ball had left Gordon’s hands before time ran out. This decision, however, was met with mixed reactions online.

Gordon contributed 14 points and six rebounds, while Jokic put up a massive double-double with 36 points, 21 rebounds, and eight assists.

The series will pick back up with the next game scheduled for Tuesday night in Denver.
