This network, often tucked away deep within cable and streaming bundles, primarily caters to die-hard basketball enthusiasts who wouldn’t mind watching a preseason matchup between the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors.
Viewers last Friday night witnessed an unusual interaction between host Chris Miles and former Toronto Raptors coach Sam Mitchell. The incident began with what seemed to be a harmless jab by Miles at Mitchell’s earnings.
“I’m surprised coaches are even paid for being on this show,” Miles commented. “Perhaps you should consider doing it for free.”
“The last time I checked my paycheck, it was nearly there,” Mitchell countered. “I’m open to donations. Why don’t you share some of that money you’ve been flaunting?”

Miles tried to laugh the situation off and calm things down, but Mitchell was not having it.
“Should I go on about that town house you have over at Buckhead in Atlanta?” Mitchell pressed. “Calling me out like that? Come on… I know where you live, buddy.”
Incredulously, Mitchell proceeded to broadcast an address he implied was Miles’s, which will not be repeated here for privacy reasons.
A cautionary note to hosts on MLB, NFL, and NHL Networks—exercise caution.
