Therefore, it’s the perfect day to consider some top NBA bets!
For this Sunday, I’m looking at a third straight prop bet night with five different selections (all half unit due to the number), featuring two bets on Denver Nuggets’ star Nikola Jokic in what looks to be a favorable setup.
Despite a sluggish start, my NBA predictions have soared, gaining over 6.8 units in November alone. Let’s move into December and maintain this momentum through the holiday season!
Current NBA Betting Record

Top NBA Picks for Today
Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
- Evan Mobley to Achieve a Double-Double (-115) – 0.5 unit
- Miles McBride to Score Over 8.5 Points (-125) – 0.5 unit
- Nikola Jokic to Make Over 1.5 3-Pointers (-130) – 0.5 unit
- Nikola Jokic to Achieve Over 20.5 Rebounds and Assists (-115) – 0.5 unit
- Jimmy Butler to Surpass 27.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists (-125) – 0.5 unit
Evan Mobley to Achieve a Double-Double (-115) – 0.5 unit
Cleveland Cavaliers’ Evan Mobley has consistently performed well against the Boston Celtics since last season’s playoffs, making this Sunday’s game particularly advantageous for him.
Boston has both Al Horford and Kristaps Porzingis listed as questionable, and with the Celtics facing back-to-back games, they might rotate these players. This was their strategy last season.
Therefore, Boston may rely on Neemias Queta, Xavier Tillman Sr., and Luke Kornet for additional minutes in the low post.
Mobley has already secured a double-double against Boston this season (22 points, 11 rebounds on Nov. 19), and he has achieved this feat in nine out of the season’s games so far.
With only one instance this season of not reaching 10 points and averaging 18.2 points and 9.3 rebounds per game, Mobley is a strong candidate for another double-double tonight.
Miles McBride to Score Over 8.5 Points (-125) – 0.5 unit
New York Knicks’ Miles McBride, with an average of 10.7 points per game, faces the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday.
Given the potential for a blowout with the Pelicans missing key players like Zion Williams, Brandon Ingram, and others, the Knicks are favored by 12 points.
McBride, who was part of the closing lineup recently against Charlotte, might see extended minutes if the game swings heavily in the Knicks’ favor.
So far this season, McBride has scored nine or more points in nine of his 14 games, and given his role, he’s likely to hit double figures again on Sunday.
Nikola Jokic to Make Over 1.5 3-Pointers (-130) – 0.5 unit
In the first of two bets on Nikola Jokic for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers, the focus is on his three-point shooting.
Jokic previously launched 12 three-point attempts against the Clippers, successfully making seven, as Ivica Zubac struggled to defend him from deep.
While another seven three-pointers may not occur, Jokic’s consistent shooting (53.4% from three on 4.1 attempts per game) suggests he’s likely to surpass 1.5 made threes if he shoots five or more on Sunday.
Nikola Jokic to Achieve Over 20.5 Rebounds and Assists (-115) – 0.5 unit
The second prop for Jokic targets his combined rebounds and assists.
Despite recent games where he didn’t meet this mark, Jokic’s season averages (13.1 rebounds and 10.6 assists) and his performance in 10 out of 14 games suggest he’s a strong bet to surpass 20.5 combined rebounds and assists.
Jimmy Butler to Surpass 27.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists (-125) – 0.5 unit
It’s surprising to see the betting line for Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler set at just 27.5 for points, rebounds, and assists given his recent performances.
Although a back injury affected his recent game, Butler has been exceeding this prop easily in recent matches, making it a tempting bet against a Toronto team with a weaker defense.
- vs. Philly: 30 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists – 45 PRA
- vs. Dallas: 33 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists – 48 PRA
- vs. Milwaukee: 23 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists – 32 PRA
- vs. Toronto: 26 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists – 34 PRA
Given his track record and the favorable matchup, Butler is likely to exceed the prop, especially if he’s fully recovered from his injury.
