During the esteemed HoopHall Classic, which coincides with the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, Bryce James made a significant impact for Sierra Canyon School. LeBron James’ youngest son played a pivotal role coming off the bench, securing a personal best of 16 points in their victory against Grayson High School, a team renowned in the high school basketball circuit.

In just 17 minutes on the court, Bryce James amassed 16 points, grabbed five rebounds, and achieved four steals. His scoring included hitting four three-pointers out of six attempts from the field. Bryce’s outstanding performance earned him the title of the game’s Most Valuable Player, a moment celebrated joyously by his team.

LeBron James could hardly hide his excitement while witnessing one of his son’s best performances. On X, LeBron expressed his enthusiasm, “Bryce James going crazy in the Hoophall Classic right now! Flame thrower,” he posted.

In another heartfelt post, LeBron shared, “So proud of you Maximus!!! I literally just shed a tear! PROUD POPS!!”

LeBron James was present earlier in the week, along with the James family, to support Bryce during his senior night. As Bryce concludes his high school basketball career, he looks forward to his next chapter playing college basketball at Arizona. This MVP recognition is a proud addition to his collection of accolades as he gears up for college.
