However, the duration of his career beyond that point remains uncertain. Recently, a video that was leaked online hinted at some personal pressures for him to consider retirement, particularly from his wife, Savannah.
ESPN reported that during a dinner in New York City earlier this week, captured in a widely circulated video, James expressed that his wife would like him to retire within the next year.
In the video, James is heard stating, “She wants me to f—ing retire in the next year or so.”
