LeBron Calls Lakers-Thunder ‘Weird As Hell’ Following Luka Doncic’s Shocking Ejection!

During a recent match against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Luka Doncic, who plays guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, received a pivotal technical foul.

In the last quarter, a verbal altercation between Doncic and a spectator led to him being controversially penalized with a technical foul by referee J.T. Orr. The official reason provided in the post-game pool report was that Doncic “stared down an official and uttered offensive language.”

However, it was clear that Doncic’s comments were directed at the fan, not at the official. This was his second technical foul in the game, which resulted in his ejection.

His ejection occurred at a critical juncture just after Doncic had put the Lakers ahead with a score of 108-107 with a successful jumper. Following his departure, the Thunder capitalized by going on a 24-8 scoring spree, ultimately defeating the Lakers 136-120.

LeBron James expressed confusion post-game about the referee’s personal reaction to the incident, noting that the game turned “weird” after Doncic was ejected.

“The minutes following that ejection were strange,” said James to reporters. “I can’t figure out why the referee took it personally. Luka was aware that he already had one technical foul. He was merely engaging with a courtside fan, which is typical for him. The fans can say all sorts of things, and Luka was just responding. Suddenly, the referee decided to interpret it as directed at him. Then, another technical foul was called on Vando after a block. The whole game just got weird from that point.”

With this defeat, the Los Angeles Lakers can now only achieve as high as the third seed in the Western Conference. They need to win at least two out of their next three games to secure this spot without depending on other teams’ results.
