The 2024-25 NBA season is set to be a significant one for the Los Angeles Lakers, not only because LeBron James will be playing alongside his son, but also because the team will introduce its inaugural City Edition court.
Until now, the Lakers have never had an alternative court design since Nike launched the City Edition themes across the NBA. This change is partly due to the fact that they shared the Crypto.com Arena with the Los Angeles Clippers, who have recently moved to a new venue in Inglewood. This season, Nike and the NBA collaborated to design a unique court to complement the Lakers’ new City Edition uniforms.
