The dynamic duo of LeBron James and his son Bronny is set to become a major focal point in the upcoming NBA season, and it appears that their interactions are already heating up during the preseason workouts.

As the regular season approaches, the Lakers’ general manager Rob Pelinka shared an amusing incident involving LeBron and Bronny at a practice session with the media last Wednesday.

In a scrimmage that occurred on Tuesday, Bronny found himself in the challenging position of defending his father, LeBron. LeBron, showing no signs of easing up, played aggressively against him.

Pelinka recounted that during the scrimmage, when Bronny was matched up against LeBron, LeBron aggressively drove past him along the baseline and nailed a difficult up-and-under shot at the basket. He then celebrated the move with some light-hearted banter, not shying away from a bit of competitive spirit, even though he was up against his son.

Welcome to the league, Bronny.

The Lakers secured Bronny with the 55th pick in this year’s draft, finally actualizing the much-speculated father-son pairing in Los Angeles during the offseason.

On the court, LeBron treats Bronny just like any other player, showing no hesitation in challenging him at the basket.
