The opening game will showcase the current NBA champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder, as they face off against the Houston Rockets. This matchup offers the Thunder an opportunity to showcase their recent title win on a national platform.
The second game of the night features the Golden State Warriors traveling to play against the Los Angeles Lakers. This game is particularly awaited for its face-off between NBA stars Stephen Curry and LeBron James.
NBC will broadcast these games, in addition to ABC/ESPN and Amazon, all of which have acquired broadcasting rights for the league following TNT’s inability to renew their contract with the NBA.
