On Friday, the New York Knicks decisively defeated the Boston Celtics with a score of 119-81, concluding their second-round series and advancing to the Eastern Conference finals for the first time in 25 years. They will face the Indiana Pacers, who were also their opponents in their last conference finals appearance in 2000.

In the game on Friday, the Knicks displayed a well-rounded offensive performance, with Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby, and Karl-Anthony Towns each scoring more than 20 points. Despite the significant lead, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau opted to keep his starting players in the game until late, while celebrations commenced early among the fans in New York.

A host of celebrities and Knicks legends, including Lenny Kravitz, Timothée Chalamet, Bad Bunny, and Ben Stiller, were spotted enjoying the game at Madison Square Garden.

It was indeed a night to remember for New York. Both Knicks fans and basketball enthusiasts paused to celebrate a momentous milestone for the franchise, marking a significant achievement not witnessed in the last quarter-century.

The first game between the Knicks and Pacers is scheduled for Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET, taking place at Madison Square Garden.
